Footbridge across Køge Bay motorway

In November, Spæncom erected a footbridge at Ølsemaglevej in the city of Køge on the new stretch of railway between Ringsted and Copenhagen. The work was divided into two phases, the first crossing the #E20 motorway and the second crossing the planned railway tracks. The footpath, which is 4 metres wide, consists of prefabricated pillars and Spæncom box girders. With a span of up to 24 meters and an element weight of over 34 tonnes, they are the longest box girders Spæncom has ever delivered. For this project, Marlon delivered Joint Mortar 35 for the joining of the elements.
